Linkify Opener

Tap-to-open cards that never need reprinting

An NFC card carries the same short link as a QR code, but a visitor taps instead of scans — hand someone a table card or countertop tag and their phone opens your destination immediately, no camera app required.

How it works

Every Linkify Opener link doubles as an NFC payload: write the short link's URL to any NFC tag or card, and a tap opens it exactly the way a scan would — same destination, same permanence.

It works with any NFC-capable phone's default tap behaviour; nothing to install first.

Telling a tap from a scan

An NFC tap and a QR scan are both just an ordinary web request underneath — nothing technically distinguishes one from the other. So the medium is declared when the tag is made, not detected afterward: pick “NFC” in the link builder and every tap is reported as a tap in your analytics, kept separate from your QR codes and plain links even when they all point at the same destination.

Repointing it later

Update what a card opens — a new menu, a seasonal promotion, a different review link — without touching the physical card. The NFC chip only ever stores the short link; everything else about where it leads lives on our side, changeable any time.

Your first sticker is free — 1 link and 10 days of scan analytics included, no card required.
