Terms of Service

The service

Linkify Opener gives you short links, and QR codes for them, that open an app store page, a web page, or a review form on the device your visitor is using. Your short link is permanent: once you create it, it keeps working even if you later change where it points. You can update the destination of a link you own at any time from your admin dashboard.

Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with your email address. We send you a magic sign-in link — there is no password to remember or reset. The first time you sign in with an address, an account is created for that address.

Plans and billing

Linkify Opener is free to start. The free tier includes 1 link and 10 days of scan analytics. Paid plans add more links, longer analytics history and CSV export.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. When you pay, your card details are entered on and held by Stripe, not by us. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal.

Acceptable use

You may not use Linkify Opener to point a link at unlawful content or activity, or at a destination that deceives, misleads or harms the person who opens it. We may suspend an account or disable a link that violates these terms.

If a paid plan lapses

If a paid plan lapses, your links keep resolving forever. You keep the ability to see and delete your links. Creating new links, editing existing ones and uploading artwork stop until your subscription renews.

Termination and account deletion

You can stop using Linkify Opener at any time. To close your account and delete your data, write to the contact address published at linkifysolutions.com and we will act on your request. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkify Solutions Inc.'s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the version number at the top of this page changes, and we will ask you to accept the updated terms the next time you sign in. If you do not accept them, you will not be able to continue using the service.
